Optimizing Load Transients in Regulators

The job of voltage regulators is to maintain a constant voltage regardless of the amount of load. The amount of time it takes for a regulator to adjust to changing loads is largely determined by the passive components that enable the circuit operation.

In this webinar, KEMET’s Andrew Mikulski (Field Application Engineer) discusses those design considerations and the impacts on the transient response.
