Electronica 2018: Immersive and Informative
It is once again time the biennial gathering of diverse electronics industry individuals in Munich, Germany. Yes, it is time for Electronica! It is the show where companies pull out all the stops to put on an incredible and informative event for their customers and partners. KEMET is no different. We are poised to have our biggest and best Electronica yet. We have several new elements to deliver informative content and engage our visitors. Not only that, this year’s Electronica serves as KEMET’s official 100-year anniversary celebration.
Augmented reality is a focal point of our booth. We will have two AR spaces. You can use AR to explore KEMET’s rich history that takes use from the very early start in 1919 as KEMET Laboratories, to the present day, and beyond. AR is also used to show where KEMET’s components are used in the electrical systems of today.
Earlier this year we made a big move to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We know that not everyone is able to visit our new corporate headquarters, but we invite you to stop by our booth and take a virtual tour of our new space. Our CEO, Per Loof, greets you with a special welcome message in our lobby.
Interactive Application Guides
The main area of our booth is divided into six focus areas: Automotive, IoT/Sensors, Power Conversion, Wide Band Gap, Electromagnetic Compatibility, and High Reliability. Each section features an interactive application guide that shows where and how our components are used in some of those applications.
KEMET Technology Incubator
The KEMET Technology incubator is where we showcase our newest and most cutting-edge research products on the horizon. At the incubator you can learn about our advanced packaging, our upcoming sensor offerings, and more.
Electronica 2018 also serves as a fantastic opportunity to come by and meet our corporate leadership team and technical experts. We will have representation from each of our business groups including ceramics, tantalum, film, electrolytics, magnetics, and others.
